Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is Blasting Its Way Onto PS4

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime may sound like a cheesy romance novel filled with lines like “Oh, Antonio!” and “glistening yearning,” but it is, in fact, an award-winning, couch co-op game by indie developer, Android Base!

Toronto-based developer, Android Base is a 3-person team consisting of an illustrator, animator and a particle physicist. Together they are bringing back the joyous art of couch co-op with a wild tale of fighting for love…by blasting stuff…AND SAVING SPACE BUNNIES!!

Originally released on PC, Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime is headed to PS4 on February 9, 2016.

“Since releasing on PC, PlayStation players have been asking when they can get their turn at Lovers’ chaotic gameplay and true co-op experience,” said Jamie Tucker, Co-Founder of Asteroid Base. “We had been working hard on a PlayStation 4 version and thought there is no better time to release Lovers than right at Valentine’s Day. After having already earned numerous honors and fan support from gamers we can’t wait to see how the devoted PlayStation community takes to Lovers.”

Set in a brightly colored world, Lovers has either 2 players or 1 player with an A.I. pet blasting their way across the universe to save love and some adorable creatures along the way.

The PS4 version will feature 2 new difficulty modes: Beginner and Veteran, although Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is said to be frantic and challenging for gamers of all skill levels.
